Robert Half has partnered with a growing manufacturing organization as they look for an experienced HR Generalist to support day-to-day human resources operations and employee lifecycle activities in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the HR Manager, this role will provide HR support across recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, payroll, compliance, records management, and employee engagement while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Job Responsibility:
Manage full-cycle recruiting for hourly and select salaried positions, including job postings, screening, interviewing, background checks, and offer preparation
Coordinate onboarding and new hire paperwork, including I-9s, tax forms, and direct deposit setup
Support employee relations, performance reviews, corrective actions, investigations, and offboarding processes
Process bi-weekly payroll accurately in ADP, including attendance, pay adjustments, and payroll record updates
Maintain employee files, HR records, training documentation, and system updates in ADP and shared drives
Assist employees with HR-related questions, benefits information, leave administration, workers’ compensation, and policy interpretation
Support employee engagement initiatives such as events, recognition programs, newsletters, and bonus administration
Help ensure compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local employment regulations
Requirements:
3+ years of human resources experience
Experience handling payroll administration using ADP (REQUIRED)
Demonstrated background in full-cycle recruiting and candidate sourcing for hourly and salaried positions
Working knowledge of employee relations practices, including investigations, corrective action support, and confidential issue handling
A degree in human resources, business, or a related field preferred, but not required
