We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Kenner, Louisiana. This role is pivotal in managing recruitment efforts, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and enhancing employee engagement. The ideal candidate will bring extensive HR experience and a proactive approach to fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating onboarding
Build and maintain strong talent pipelines through networking, referrals, and community outreach
Ensure all recruitment documentation, including offer letters and background checks, is completed accurately and efficiently
Monitor recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill and cost-per-placement, to identify areas for improvement
Travel locally and domestically up to 20% of the time to support recruitment initiatives
Assist in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
Conduct internal audits for personnel files, training records, and other compliance-related documentation
Provide support for annual benefits enrollment and act as a resource for employees with benefits-related questions
Collaborate with benefits providers to address and resolve employee concerns
Maintain accurate and secure employee records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in HR-focused roles
Proven expertise in full-cycle recruitment and ensuring HR compliance
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees and stakeholders
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and integrity
HR certifications, such as PHR or SHRM-CP, are highly desirable
Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR-related tools
