We are looking for an HR Generalist to support core people operations and provide responsive day-to-day assistance across the employee lifecycle. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing employee support, administrative coordination, and HR data accuracy in a fast-moving environment. The role partners closely with internal teams to help keep onboarding, reporting, systems activity, and general HR processes organized, timely, and consistent.
Job Responsibility
Manage employee lifecycle transactions such as new employee setup, position changes, and offboarding updates within HR systems
Coordinate onboarding activities, including orientation logistics and follow-up support to help new employees transition smoothly into the organization
Act as an initial point of contact for HR-related questions, responding to shared inbox requests and directing more sensitive matters to the appropriate partners
Work with payroll, benefits, and leave administration contacts to help resolve employee questions and ensure timely follow-through
Prepare recurring workforce reports and assist with distributing HR data to stakeholders in an accurate and organized manner
Support HRIS-related processes by maintaining records, monitoring workflows, and helping ensure information remains current across systems and trackers
Assist with employee communications, training acknowledgements, and documentation management to strengthen process compliance and recordkeeping
Help promote operational consistency across HR by tracking tasks, following up on open items, and supporting shared services activities as needed
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred
2–4 years of experience in HR operations, HR coordination, payroll support, benefits administration, recruiting support, or a related function preferred
Familiarity with multiple areas of HR operations, such as onboarding, employee support, leave coordination, reporting, payroll administration, or benefits processes strongly preferred
Experience working with HRIS platforms and related tools required
prior exposure to enterprise HR systems is highly valued
Ability to support reporting, transaction processing, workflow administration, and shared services activities with strong attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, service-focused environment with shifting priorities and frequent cross-functional interaction
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment when handling sensitive employee matters
