We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join a dynamic non-profit team in Boston, Massachusetts. This is a contract position where you will play a key role in supporting various human resources functions, including employee relations, onboarding, and benefits administration. Your expertise will help ensure smooth HR operations and foster a positive work environment.
Job Responsibility:
Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and maintaining a positive workplace culture
Manage onboarding processes to ensure new hires have a seamless integration into the organization
Assist in administering employee benefits programs and addressing related inquiries
Support HR administrative functions, including maintaining employee records and documentation
Utilize HRIS systems to track employee data and generate reports
Ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational policies
Collaborate with management to develop and implement HR strategies
Provide guidance to employees on HR policies and procedures
Conduct training sessions to enhance employee knowledge in HR-related areas
Participate in recruitment activities to attract and retain top talent
Requirements:
Proven experience in employee relations and conflict resolution
Strong knowledge of HR administration practices, including onboarding and benefits
Familiarity with HRIS systems and ability to use them effectively
Understanding of labor laws and compliance requirements
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred
