We are looking for an experienced and motivated HR Generalist to join our team in City of Industry, California. This is a Contract to permanent employment opportunity within the manufacturing industry, offering a dynamic role that encompasses various human resources functions. The ideal candidate will excel in fostering positive employee relations, managing benefits, and ensuring compliance with employment laws while contributing to a collaborative work environment.
Job Responsibility:
Provide guidance to employees regarding company policies and procedures
Stay informed about federal and state employment laws, ensuring all HR practices align with compliance standards
Coordinate open enrollment processes, train staff on benefits programs, and oversee benefits billing
Manage employee onboarding and orientation to ensure a smooth integration into the company
Develop and maintain talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain individuals with relevant experience
Conduct investigations into employee relations matters and facilitate disciplinary processes when necessary
Maintain comprehensive and accurate employee records, ensuring data integrity
Respond promptly to inquiries related to human resources policies, benefits, and procedures
Facilitate exit interviews, analyze feedback, and recommend improvements as needed
Collaborate with managers to recruit, interview, and select candidates for open positions
Requirements:
At least three years of experience in human resources, with a focus on employee relations, benefits, and leave management
Strong organizational and planning skills with meticulous attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to foster positive workplace relationships
Proficiency in HRIS systems, with experience in ADP Workforce Now preferred
Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state employment regulations and compliance requirements
Ability to exercise sound judgment and take appropriate actions in sensitive situations
Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred
HR certification is a plus
Familiarity with benefits administration and leave of absence procedures in a manufacturing setting
