We are looking for an HR Generalist to support key people operations for a Contract position based in Saint Louis, Missouri. This role will contribute across employee relations, onboarding, benefits support, and day-to-day HR administration while helping maintain accurate records and dependable service for employees and leaders. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple HR priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility:
Provide day-to-day support for human resources activities, including employee documentation, record maintenance, and general administrative coordination
Guide new hires through the onboarding process by preparing required paperwork, tracking completion steps, and helping create a smooth start to employment
Respond to employee questions and concerns with professionalism, escalating sensitive issues when appropriate and supporting positive employee relations
Assist with benefits-related tasks such as enrollments, updates, and employee communications while helping ensure information is processed accurately
Maintain HR data within HRIS platforms and filing systems, keeping records current, organized, and compliant with company standards
Partner with managers and internal stakeholders to support HR processes and help resolve routine personnel matters in a timely manner
Prepare, review, and manage HR forms, correspondence, and other documentation needed for employment-related activities
Support special HR projects and process updates as assigned, including administrative tasks tied to operational changes when needed
Requirements:
Experience supporting human resources operations in a generalist or closely related HR role
Working knowledge of employee relations practices, onboarding coordination, and HR administration
Familiarity with benefits support processes, including handling employee updates and related documentation
Experience using HRIS tools and maintaining accurate electronic and paper records
Strong attention to detail with the ability to organize, file, and manage confidential information responsibly
Effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with employees, managers, and cross-functional teams
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a Contract position environment
