The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting a wide range of human resources functions, including employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and HR operations. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and managers and helps ensure HR policies and processes are followed consistently across the organization.
Job Responsibility:
Administer employee onboarding and offboarding processes
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in HR systems
Support benefits administration, enrollment, and employee questions
Assist with employee relations issues and performance management processes
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Support recruiting activities, including interview coordination and offer documentation
Assist with timekeeping, payroll coordination, and HR audits
Provide guidance to employees on HR policies, procedures, and programs
Partner with managers on HR-related matters and day-to-day people operations
Support HR projects and initiatives as needed
Requirements:
2–5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
High level of discretion when handling sensitive information
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
Nice to have:
Experience with benefits administration and employee relations
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
SHRM-CP or PHR certification a plus
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
