Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated HR Generalist to join our team in Decatur, Georgia. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a pivotal role in managing key human resources functions such as onboarding, payroll, and employee relations for a multi-state workforce. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment while ensuring compliance and fostering employee engagement.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee the onboarding process to ensure new team members are seamlessly integrated into the organization
  • Administer payroll for a workforce of approximately 130 employees across multiple states
  • Conduct background checks and manage offboarding procedures with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Facilitate training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  • Maintain and update employee records using HRIS platforms, including Bamboo HR
  • Address employee relations issues and provide guidance to ensure positive workplace interactions
  • Support benefits administration and assist employees with related inquiries
  • Utilize Office 365 tools to streamline HR processes and communications
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals

Requirements

  • Proven experience in human resources administration, including payroll and onboarding
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations and ability to handle sensitive situations professionally
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems, such as Bamboo HR, and proficiency in Office 365
  • Understanding of benefits administration and related processes
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • Knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements
  • Previous experience supporting a multi-state workforce is preferred
