We are looking for a skilled HR Generalist to join our team on a contract to hire opportunity in West Sacramento, California. In this role, you will play a key part in managing various human resources functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, and onboarding processes. Job Responsibility:
Manage employee relations by addressing workplace concerns and fostering a positive organizational culture
Coordinate onboarding processes to ensure new hires have a seamless transition into the company
Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, updates, and addressing inquiries
Oversee daily HR administrative tasks to maintain efficient departmental operations
Utilize HRIS systems to manage employee data and generate accurate reports
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and organizational standards
Provide guidance to employees and managers regarding HR-related inquiries
Collaborate with management to support workforce planning and talent retention strategies
Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance employee skills and knowledge
Assist in performance management processes, including evaluations and feedback sessions
Requirements:
Proven experience in employee relations and handling workplace issues
Proficiency in HR administration, including managing benefits and onboarding processes
Familiarity with HRIS systems for data management and reporting
Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees and management
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
