Our client has an immediate need for an experienced HR Generalist to support operational HR functions across multiple business units. This is a long-term contract role expected to run through the end of 2026. The position requires onsite presence three days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday) in The Woodlands, with flexibility around standard 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM hours. This role is ideal for a tactical HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident handling employee relations matters within manufacturing and corporate settings.
Job Responsibility:
Partner with leaders on employee relations matters including discipline, performance improvement plans (PIPs), and attendance management
Support conflict resolution and employee counseling efforts
Administer and support absence management programs in partnership with leadership and medical teams
Provide operational HR support to assigned business units and manufacturing sites
Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners to ensure alignment across supported groups
Support accommodations and compensation-related HR items
Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain consistent HR practices and documentation standards
Requirements:
5–7 years of HR experience preferred (3–5 years considered for high-potential candidates)
Strong employee relations experience in a fast-paced environment
Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial environments preferred
Ability to manage multiple client groups simultaneously
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Must be able to work onsite three days per week (non-negotiable)
