Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled HR Generalist to join our team on a contract basis in Granville, Ohio. In this role, you will support various human resources functions, including employee relations, recruitment, and compliance activities. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic HR environment while ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide guidance and support for employee relations issues, ensuring alignment with company policies and legal requirements
  • Assist in recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews
  • Oversee onboarding processes to ensure new hires have a seamless transition into the organization
  • Manage data entry and maintain accurate employee records in HR systems
  • Generate reports and analyze HR data to support decision-making and strategic planning
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies, including managing FMLA and other leave requests
  • Collaborate with the benefits team to handle employee inquiries and assist with benefit-related processes
  • Support the implementation and optimization of HR systems, including ADP Workforce Now and other relevant platforms
  • Provide training and communication to employees on HR policies and procedures as needed
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and practices

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar human resources role
  • Proficiency in HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, or Dayforce
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration
  • Familiarity with FMLA and other leave management processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and data management skills
  • Ability to generate and interpret HR reports to support strategic decisions
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment processes
