We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Vista, CA. This role is essential in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies. The ideal candidate will play a key role in administering employee programs, maintaining records, and fostering a positive workplace environment.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, including maintaining the employee handbook and ensuring consistency in practices
Administer benefits programs by managing claims, approving invoices, and communicating updates to employees
Facilitate orientation for new team members and ongoing training programs to address skill gaps and enhance employee performance
Maintain and update personnel and medical records in compliance with company standards
Ensure accurate data management within the human resource information system (HRIS) and generate reports as needed
Conduct audits of Form I-9s to ensure compliance with employment eligibility requirements
Monitor adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Address employee relations matters and promote a positive and inclusive workplace
Handle workers' compensation processes and oversee timekeeping systems
Protect sensitive company and employee information by maintaining strict confidentiality at all times
Requirements:
Proven experience in human resources administration, including employee relations and onboarding
Strong knowledge of benefits management and HRIS systems
Familiarity with federal, state, and local employment laws and compliance requirements
Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills with attention to detail
Ability to conduct training sessions and evaluate employee performance effectively
Experience managing workers' compensation and timekeeping systems
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with employees
A high level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information securely
