We are looking for a skilled HR Generalist to join our team on a contract basis in South Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves overseeing payroll processes, supporting recruitment efforts, and managing key aspects of employee relations and benefits. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and experience in human resource administration to ensure smooth operations.
Job Responsibility:
Handle biweekly payroll processing for a workforce of over 50 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Support recruitment activities by coordinating job postings, candidate communications, and interview scheduling
Assist in managing employee relations, addressing concerns, and fostering a positive workplace environment
Oversee benefits administration, including enrollment processes and employee inquiries
Organize and maintain HR records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations
Coordinate travel arrangements and calendars for executives as needed
Schedule and facilitate executive meetings, ensuring all logistical needs are met
Act as a point of contact for workforce-related inquiries and provide solutions promptly
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in all HR activities
Collaborate with team members to enhance HR processes and workflows
Requirements:
Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably for teams of 50 or more employees
Familiarity with HR systems such as Workforce Now or similar platforms
Strong understanding of recruitment processes and employee relations
Knowledge of benefits administration and related regulations
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in arranging travel, managing calendars, and coordinating executive schedules
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
