We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Freehold, New Jersey. This contract position offers a dynamic opportunity to support operations by overseeing critical human resources functions. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in employee relations, payroll administration, and benefits management to ensure smooth HR processes and compliance.
Job Responsibility:
Manage employee relations, addressing concerns and fostering a positive workplace environment
Administer onboarding processes to ensure new hires are integrated effectively into the organization
Oversee benefits administration, including enrollment and employee inquiries
Maintain and update HRIS systems, ensuring accurate employee records and data integrity
Process multi-state payroll, ensuring timeliness and compliance
Utilize HRIS software to streamline payroll and HR functions
Collaborate with management to support HR strategies aligned with organizational goals
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures to employees and managers
Generate reports when needed from HR systems
Requirements:
Proven experience in an HR Generalist role
Strong knowledge of employee relations practices and conflict resolution
Proficiency in managing payroll operations, including multi-state payroll
Familiarity with HRIS systems and payroll software
Experience administering benefits programs and addressing employee inquiries
Ability to manage onboarding processes effectively for new hires
Solid understanding of employment laws and regulations
Excellent communication and organizational skills to handle diverse HR responsibilities
