We are seeking a highly skilled HR Generalist to support and execute core human resources functions across the employee lifecycle. This role will be responsible for areas such as employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, compliance, HRIS maintenance, and policy implementation. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional with strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility
Administer day-to-day human resources operations and support employees and managers on HR-related matters
Manage onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a positive employee experience
Support employee relations efforts by addressing workplace concerns, conducting investigations, and recommending resolutions
Assist with benefits administration, leave tracking, and employee questions regarding compensation and policies
Maintain HRIS data integrity and generate reports for leadership as needed
Coordinate performance management processes, including reviews, goal tracking, and development planning
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies
Partner with leadership on workforce planning, employee engagement, and retention initiatives
Support recruiting efforts, including job postings, screening, interview coordination, and offer preparation
Help develop, update, and communicate HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook content
Maintain confidential employee records and documentation
Assist with training programs and organizational development initiatives
Requirements
4+ years of progressive HR experience in a generalist or similar role
Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance requirements
Experience with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
Proven ability to manage sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
Nice to have
HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP
Experience supporting multiple HR functions in a midsize or large organization
Familiarity with payroll processes and benefits platforms
Experience with performance management and employee engagement programs
