Our client in the nonprofit space is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Generalist to support a wide range of human resources functions. This role will assist with employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, recruiting support, and HR operations while helping foster a mission-driven and collaborative workplace culture.
Job Responsibility
Support day-to-day human resources operations and employee relations
Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and new hire documentation
Administer employee records, HRIS updates, and personnel file maintenance
Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee inquiries
Support recruiting efforts, interview scheduling, and hiring coordination
Help ensure compliance with employment laws, internal policies, and HR procedures
Assist with performance management processes, training coordination, and policy communication
Prepare HR reports, correspondence, and other documentation as needed
Requirements
2+ years of experience in human resources or a related administrative role
Knowledge of HR practices including onboarding, benefits, employee relations, and compliance
Familiarity with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, mission-focused environment
Nice to have
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Experience working in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization preferred
Exposure to performance management, recruitment, or benefits coordination preferred
