Robert Half HR Solutions is sourcing a contract to hire HR Generalist to support our client in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between management and employees, ensuring smooth HR operations and fostering a positive workplace environment. This is a Contract to permanent position offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to key HR functions within a dynamic organization. This role reports directly to the C-Suite/Owners and has a high level of visibility within the organization.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including posting job openings, maintaining interview records, facilitating pre-employment screenings, and corresponding with candidates
Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including setting up new hires in systems, conducting orientations, and managing equipment and tools
Process payroll accurately and efficiently, administer benefits, handle leave of absence requests, and manage workers' compensation claims
Support employee relations by assisting with performance reviews, improvement plans, and addressing inquiries regarding paychecks, benefits, and attendance
Prepare and distribute attendance reports to managers, ensuring consistent communication regarding employee performance
Perform receptionist duties, such as arranging courier deliveries, managing incoming mail, and maintaining an organized and welcoming reception area
Ensure proper documentation and tracking of employee-assigned items, retrieving them during offboarding processes
Collaborate with hiring managers and IT teams to ensure new employees receive the necessary equipment, tools, and resources
Handle expense reimbursement submissions and ensure they are accurately uploaded into the system
Requirements:
Minimum of three years of payroll processing experience, preferably with ADP WorkforceNow
Associate degree in a relevant field
Five to ten years of experience in human resources roles
Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Excellent interpersonal skills with the capacity to manage sensitive and confidential information
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated experience in employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, and HR systems
Nice to have:
Candidates must have recently worked with ADP WorkforceNow as their HRIS system
Preference will be given to candidates who have been an HR department of one
