Job Description

We are looking for an HR Generalist to support core people operations for a service-focused organization in Woburn, Massachusetts. This role will help create a positive employee experience by managing day-to-day HR administration, supporting benefit-related activities, and guiding staff through key employment processes. The ideal candidate brings sound judgment, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle employee matters with professionalism and care.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage daily human resources activities, including maintaining employee records, preparing documentation, and ensuring accurate administration of HR processes
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters by responding to questions, addressing workplace concerns, and supporting fair resolution practices
  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including pre-employment communication, orientation scheduling, and completion of required paperwork
  • Administer benefit-related processes such as enrollments, employee updates, and responses to routine questions regarding available programs
  • Maintain and update HRIS data to support accurate reporting, personnel tracking, and compliance with internal standards
  • Assist managers and employees with HR policies, employment procedures, and general guidance throughout the employee lifecycle
  • Support compliance efforts by organizing records, monitoring required documentation, and helping ensure adherence to employment regulations
  • Partner with internal teams to improve HR workflows and contribute to special projects that strengthen overall people operations

Requirements

  • Experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar HR support role
  • Working knowledge of employee relations practices and day-to-day HR administration
  • Hands-on experience coordinating onboarding activities for new employees
  • Familiarity with benefit administration and employee support related to benefit programs
  • Proficiency using HRIS platforms and maintaining accurate personnel data
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and professionally
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
