Job Description:

Our client, a leading insurance company with locations across the U.S., is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Generalist to support HR operations, including analytics, onboarding, payroll, and employee relations. This hybrid position operates out of the Hartford market and offers extensive growth opportunities and wellness initiatives.

Job Responsibility:

Support day-to-day operations within the HR department
provide administrative, analytical, and operational support for strategic initiatives and projects
coordinate and implement HR processes, including onboarding, intern program management, and employee relations support
analyze and report on HR metrics, KPI reporting, and organizational analytics
support payroll processes
assist managers and employees on various HR topics, performance management, talent development, policy interpretation, and HR practices

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
1-5 years of experience in HR operations
strong ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail
local candidate to Hartford market
strong analytical skills, with the ability to compile and interpret HR metrics and data
excellent organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records
strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide consultative support
knowledge of HR policies, practices, and relevant employment laws
