We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. As part of a contract to permanent opportunity, the ideal candidate will bring a broad range of HR expertise and a proactive attitude to support multiple functions within our organization.
Job Responsibility:
Manage payroll processes on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards
Administer employee benefits programs, providing guidance and addressing inquiries from staff
Oversee compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to legal and organizational policies
Post job openings and coordinate recruitment activities to support staffing needs
Conduct intake and investigations related to employee relations matters, offering attentive and confidential support
Utilize HRIS systems effectively, with a preference for experience in Workforce
Collaborate with management to develop and implement HR programs that align with organizational goals
Support onboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions for new team members
Provide general HR support across various functions within the organization
Contribute to creating a welcoming and productive work environment for all employees
Requirements:
A minimum of 5-8 years of HR experience, preferably with companies under 250 employees
Demonstrated ability to handle diverse HR responsibilities without specializing in one area
Strong proficiency in HRIS systems, with experience in Workforce highly preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills, with a welcoming and assertive approach to problem-solving
Proven ability to manage payroll, benefits, and compliance processes effectively
Familiarity with employee relations investigations and handling sensitive matters
A proactive and hardworking nature, with a commitment to contributing to the organization's success
Interest in growing into a managerial role in the future
