Robert Half is partnering with a Minnetonka, Minnesota based client who is currently seeking an HR Generalist to support them in an interim capacity for 2-3 months due to a recent resignation. This position will play a key role in day-to-day human resources operations, helping employees and managers navigate core HR processes with accuracy and professionalism. The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of broad HR experience across employee support, compliance, leave administration, and compensation and benefits while working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility:
Provide day-to-day HR support for employees and leaders across a mid-sized corporation
Coordinate workplace accommodation requests and help ensure timely, compliant documentation and follow-through
Address employee relations matters by gathering information, maintaining confidentiality, and partnering on appropriate resolutions
Assist with the administration and tracking of leave related claims, including PFML tracking and other FMLA requests
Support compensation and benefits activities such as data review, employee communication, and routine program administration
Maintain accurate employee records and HR data within HR systems, including UKG Pro, to support reporting and compliance needs
Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and other documentation in Microsoft Excel to support HR decision-making and operational needs
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in human resources coordination, generalist support, or HR administration
Hands-on knowledge of employee relations, HR compliance, and accommodation or leave-related processes
Experience supporting compensation administration and employee benefits programs
Proficiency with HRIS platforms such as ADP, Workday, UKG or other well known HRIS systems
Working knowledge of FMLA and PFML related processes, including documentation requirements and state portals
Strong Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to organize data and produce accurate reports
Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism
Nice to have:
Prior experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or a similarly regulated environment
