We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team on a contract-to-permanent basis in Plano, Texas. This role is ideal for someone with exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. In this position, you will play a key role in supporting onboarding processes for our sales team, managing employee relations, and assisting with various HR-related projects.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee the onboarding process for new sales team members, ensuring all steps are completed efficiently and effectively
Coordinate and schedule training sessions by collaborating with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders
Act as a resource for new hires, addressing questions, resolving system access issues, and guiding them to appropriate contacts
Assist with pre-onboarding activities, including coordinating with IT and helping managers plan first-day orientations
Conduct regular check-ins with new hires to monitor progress and provide ongoing support throughout their onboarding journey
Support HR-related tasks such as answering employee inquiries and organizing office-wide communications or events
Participate in ad hoc HR projects, contributing to process improvements and team initiatives
Manage employee relations, fostering a positive workplace environment and addressing concerns as needed
Collaborate with management to ensure alignment with organizational goals and HR best practices
Maintain accurate records and utilize HRIS systems to track employee data and onboarding progress
Requirements:
3-7 years of experience as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner, ideally within a large corporation
Strong organizational skills, initiative, and the ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with employees across levels
Proficiency in employee relations and onboarding processes, ensuring alignment with company values
Familiarity with HRIS systems and other HR administration tools
Stable career tenure with clear reasons for prior transitions
Must be able to work on-site in Plano, Texas at least three days per week
