We are looking for a skilled HR Generalist to join our team in Mountain View, California. In this role, you will play a key part in managing and enhancing HR operations, ensuring compliance with policies, and driving efficiency through automation and process improvement. This is a long-term contract position that requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and implement HR policies and processes by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Finance, and Operations
Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring accurate documentation for hiring, promotions, status changes, and exits
Manage compensation operations, including payroll execution and administration of bonus plans, merit adjustments, and promotions
Administer time-off policies and ensure compliance with leave programs, handling payroll adjustments and legal requirements
Audit and redesign HR workflows for scalability, leveraging automation to streamline routine processes
Act as the subject matter expert for immigration-related matters, managing work authorization processes and ensuring compliance with deadlines
Ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies by conducting audits and maintaining regulatory documentation
Coordinate workplace operations by managing vendor relationships and maintaining a high-performance office environment
Requirements:
Proven experience in employee relations and HR administration
Strong knowledge of onboarding processes and benefit administration
Proficiency in HRIS systems and data management
Expertise in employment-based immigration processes and compliance
Familiarity with time and attendance tracking systems
Ability to create and implement automated workflows to improve efficiency
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
