We are looking for a detail-oriented and approachable HR Generalist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Farmingdale, New Jersey. This position focuses on benefits administration while supporting key human resources functions such as recruiting, onboarding, and performance management. As a vital resource for employees and managers, the HR Generalist will contribute to fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring seamless HR operations.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee recruitment activities including posting job openings, coordinating interviews, and preparing offer letters
Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions for employees
Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans
Manage benefits enrollment, handle life event updates, and oversee annual open enrollment processes
Provide guidance to employees on benefits options and assist in resolving claims-related issues
Support performance review cycles and update employee handbooks to reflect current policies
Organize and promote HR events and initiatives that enhance workplace engagement and culture
Coordinate with vendors to ensure efficient benefits administration and resolve service-related concerns
Maintain accurate records within HRIS systems and generate reports as needed
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR administration or benefits management
Comprehensive understanding of employee benefits programs and HR functions
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with employees and managers
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications
Ability to educate employees on benefits and assist with claims resolution
Experience in corporate recruiting and employee performance management
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information professionally
