We are looking for an HR Generalist to join a manufacturing organization in Northern, Colorado on a Contract basis. This role will focus on strengthening recruiting operations, improving HR processes, and bringing greater structure to day-to-day talent and people administration activities. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and confident in written communication, with the ability to create practical workflows and support a fast-moving hiring environment.
Job Responsibility:
Design and refine recruiting workflows that improve consistency, visibility, and follow-through across active hiring needs
Develop reports and dashboards within Paycom to provide clearer insight into applicant activity, hiring progress, and operational trends
Translate existing procedures into usable, repeatable processes that can be applied consistently by the HR team
Create candidate tracking tools, checklists, and control measures to strengthen the hiring experience and reduce process gaps
Work closely with the current recruiter to manage requisitions, organize applicant flow, and support timely hiring decisions
Support core HR administration related to onboarding, employee relations, and benefits coordination as needed
Identify inefficiencies in current HR and recruiting practices and recommend practical improvements backed by data
Help establish stronger process discipline in an environment that has experienced leadership turnover and inconsistent structure
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or closely related human resources role
Background supporting recruiting operations, HR administration, and employee onboarding
Experience using HRIS platforms, including hands-on familiarity with Paycom
Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear documentation and process materials
Demonstrated ability to organize competing priorities and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced setting
Data-driven approach with experience creating or interpreting reports to guide HR decisions
Knowledge of employee relations practices and benefits-related HR support
Ability to work in a hybrid schedule in Thornton, Colorado, including regular onsite presence
