We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team on a contract basis in Seattle, Washington. In this role, you will provide comprehensive support across HR functions, including employee relations, payroll, benefits administration, and system management. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and contribute to process improvements.
Job Responsibility:
Provide support for employee relations activities, including handling terminations, disciplinary actions, and maintaining accurate documentation
Manage and maintain employee records, ensuring all files are accurately scanned, filed, and digitally organized
Oversee timekeeping processes, including monitoring timecards and attendance tracking
Assist with payroll preparation by reviewing and verifying payroll-related data and generating labor reports
Administer benefits enrollment and changes through vendor systems and platforms, ensuring compliance
Coordinate with benefit providers to manage communications and resolve employee inquiries
Support the administration and reporting of HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance
Contribute to ongoing projects such as digitizing employee files and improving shared drive organization
Assist in optimizing HR documentation systems to enhance efficiency and organization
Track and manage incidents, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up actions
Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a Generalist or Senior HR Coordinator role
Hands-on experience with payroll, benefits administration, and compliance-related tasks
Familiarity with HRIS platforms, particularly ADP Workforce Now, is highly preferred
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
Strong attention to detail with a high level of discretion in handling sensitive information
Experience in improving organizational processes and systems
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
A proactive mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs
