We are looking for a dedicated HR Generalist to join our team in Saint Charles, Missouri. In this long-term contract role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting various human resources functions, including benefits coordination, compliance, and employee relations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a government-focused organization while leveraging your expertise in HR systems and processes.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate and process employee benefit changes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies
Review, organize, and maintain HR-related documentation, including employee records and compliance paperwork
Manage and oversee filing systems, ensuring all data is stored securely and efficiently
Assist in the preparation and distribution of HR documents, such as contracts and policy updates
Support employee relations efforts by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and fostering a positive workplace environment
Utilize HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian Dayforce to manage payroll, benefits, and employee data
Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and organizational standards, including FMLA requirements
Collaborate with team members to improve HR processes and streamline workflows
Provide clear and effective communication to employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures
Requirements:
Proficiency in HR systems, including ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian Dayforce, and ATS tools
Strong knowledge of employee benefits administration and compliance regulations
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with employees and stakeholders effectively
Familiarity with FMLA requirements and other labor laws
Demonstrated ability to manage employee relations and resolve workplace issues
Experience with organizing and maintaining HR documentation and filing systems
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Previous experience in a government or public sector organization is a plus
