Job Description:

Robert Half Administrative and Customer Service division is looking for a detail-oriented HR Generalist to join a client for a contract position in Reno, Nevada. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring compliance and accuracy through auditing and maintaining personnel records. This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a commitment to excellence.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct comprehensive I-9 compliance audits
Review personnel records for accuracy
Identify and document discrepancies found during audits without directly correcting errors
Assist in organizing and digitizing personnel files through e-filing and related tasks
Collaborate with the team to uphold HR compliance standards and practices
Utilize HRIS to support audit and record-keeping processes
Manage side projects as needed to enhance HR operations and efficiency
Communicate findings and updates effectively with relevant stakeholders

Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience in an HR compliance or auditing role
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with high levels of accuracy
Solid understanding of HR compliance regulations and best practices
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proven experience in personnel file maintenance and organization
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
