The opportunity: HR Generalist This is a 12-month fixed term contract. Being part of HSBC in Ireland, you’ll help evolve and grow our business. What you will do: The HR Generalist role is to undertake a variety of HR administrative duties. The role may be located across various areas including but not limited to Recruitment, Compensation and Benefits, Learning and Development and Time Off & Attendance, HR administration. The role will sit within the HR function and report to a more senior HR role. In this role you will: • Support the HR team to prepare for EUPTD (EU Pay Transparency Directive) Right to Information go-live , partner with line managers on pay gaps, training/comms/data analysis, outlier monitoring, EWC (Employee Works Council) consultation • Maintain/update HR databases/systems • Assist with the onboarding processes of new employees • Facilitate and assist with various HR operations and processes • Produce and submit reports/ statistics on HR metrics data on time, not exceeding deadlines • Administer the Time off and time sheet systems and assisting employees with queries • Ensure HR cases are monitored on case management system and resolved timely You should apply if you have: • Understanding of and working experience of basic employment law in Ireland is desirable. • Knowledge of MS Office is required for day-to-day work • Demonstrated ability to communicate with internal customers and third parties at all levels up to Senior Management by using a good level of verbal and written communication • Excellent Interpersonal Skills • Problem solving and analytics skills • Excellent planning and organizational skills, prioritizing work to meet deadlines • The ability to work in a team-oriented environment, and on own initiative Even if you feel you do not meet 100% of our qualifications, we encourage you to apply, if you believe this role is right for you.
