We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join a dynamic team in Durham, North Carolina. This Contract to permanent position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual eager to contribute to a non-profit organization while driving key HR functions such as employee relations, onboarding, and benefits administration. Job Responsibility:
Manage and resolve employee relations issues by providing guidance and support to both staff and management
Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and maintaining compliance with organizational policies
Administer employee benefits programs, providing accurate information and addressing inquiries
Maintain and update HR records and data within HRIS systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Collaborate with leadership to develop HR policies that align with organizational objectives
Conduct training sessions on HR-related topics to enhance employee knowledge and engagement
Support performance management processes, including evaluations and feedback mechanisms
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all HR practices
Assist with workforce planning and recruitment strategies to meet organizational needs
Evaluate and improve HR processes to enhance operational effectiveness
Requirements:
Proven experience in employee relations and conflict resolution
Strong knowledge of HR administration, including onboarding and benefits management
Proficiency in using HRIS systems for data management and reporting
Familiarity with employment laws and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical skills to support HR decision-making
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
