We are looking for a skilled HR Generalist to join our team on a contract basis in Palm Springs, California. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing core HR functions, ensuring smooth operations and supporting employees throughout their lifecycle within the organization. Job Responsibility:
Facilitate employee onboarding processes to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly into the organization
Oversee and support employee relations by addressing concerns and fostering a positive workplace environment
Administer benefits programs, including enrollment and troubleshooting employee inquiries
Maintain and update HRIS systems to ensure accurate tracking of employee records and data
Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations
Collaborate with managers to address performance management and training needs
Assist in the preparation and review of HR-related documentation, including contracts and reports
Coordinate with external vendors for HR-related functions, such as benefits administration
Support organizational changes by executing HR initiatives and strategies
Monitor and report on key HR metrics to inform decision-making
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR Generalist role or similar position
Proficiency in handling employee relations and resolving workplace issues
Strong knowledge of HR administration processes, including onboarding and benefits management
Experience working with HRIS platforms and maintaining employee data accurately
Familiarity with employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with employees and management
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a dynamic work environment
Proven track record of supporting HR initiatives and driving positive outcomes
