We are looking for a dedicated HR Generalist to join our team in Lodi, California. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to essential HR functions, including leave management, recruitment, and administrative support. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of HR best practices and a proactive approach to supporting employees and managers.
Job Responsibility:
Manage leave administration processes, ensuring compliance with state and federal leave policies
Support recruitment efforts by posting job requisitions, reviewing applications, and coordinating interview schedules
Provide assistance with HR administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records and generating reports
Collaborate on special HR projects to improve processes and enhance employee engagement
Serve as a resource for managers and employees regarding HR policies and procedures
Utilize HRIS systems, such as Workday, to manage and update employee data
Assist in onboarding new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization
Address basic employee relations inquiries and escalate complex issues as needed
Support benefit administration functions, including enrollment and employee communications
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR generalist role or similar position
Familiarity with state and federal leave policies and procedures
Experience with recruitment tasks, including screening candidates and coordinating interviews
Proficiency in using HRIS systems, such as Workday or similar platforms
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees and managers
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred, but not required
HR certification (e.g., PHR or SHRM-CP) is a plus
