We’re seeking an experienced and motivated HR Generalist to support and enhance our human resources functions in the York area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing many hats, partnering with leadership, and supporting employees throughout the full employment lifecycle.
Job Responsibility:
Support all aspects of HR operations, including onboarding, employee relations, and offboarding
Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and procedures
Assist with recruitment, interviews, and hiring processes
Administer benefits, leave programs, and HRIS updates
Support performance management and employee development initiatives
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Assist with investigations, documentation, and policy enforcement
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
3+ years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar role
Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
Nice to have:
HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred but not required
