We are looking for a detail-oriented HR Generalist to join a healthcare organization on a Contract basis. This role supports key employee lifecycle activities, from recruiting coordination and onboarding to leave administration, compliance, and records management. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, a solid foundation in HR operations, and the ability to manage sensitive information with accuracy and professionalism.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate recruitment and separation activities, including preparing employment documentation, facilitating new employee orientation, maintaining personnel files, and assisting with departure procedures
Support recruitment efforts by posting openings, tracking requisitions, arranging interviews, and preparing offer-related paperwork for selected candidates
Oversee leave administration and workers’ compensation case support while helping ensure alignment with applicable employment regulations in the U.S. and Canada
Assist with the rollout and maintenance of HR policies by contributing to handbook revisions and identifying potential compliance concerns
Help deliver internal HR communications and support engagement programs such as employee announcements, feedback initiatives, and recognition efforts
Maintain accurate employee data within the HRIS, prepare recurring and ad hoc reports, and provide documentation support for audits and other administrative needs
Requirements:
1–3 years of experience in human resources, preferably in a generalist or HR operations capacity
Hands-on experience using ADP Workforce Now or a comparable human resources information system
Working knowledge of onboarding, employee relations, HR administration, and benefits-related processes
Familiarity with leave of absence coordination, workers’ compensation support, and employment law compliance practices
Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle confidential records accurately and efficiently
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational and time management abilities
