We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Contract HR Generalist to support core human resources functions during a temporary assignment. This role will assist with employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, recruiting coordination, HR compliance, and day-to-day HR operations. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility
Support daily HR operations and respond to employee and manager questions regarding HR policies and procedures
Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities, including new hire paperwork, orientation, and system updates
Coordinate recruitment support tasks such as job postings, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and background check processing
Maintain accurate employee records and update data in HRIS systems
Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment support, and employee inquiries
Help ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws
Support employee relations matters by documenting issues and partnering with HR leadership as needed
Assist with performance management processes, reporting, and other HR projects
Prepare HR documents, reports, and correspondence as needed
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
2+ years of experience in human resources, preferably in a generalist or broad HR support role
Working knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, onboarding, and compliance
Experience with HRIS systems
familiarity with Workday is a plus
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Ability to quickly adapt and contribute in a contract or interim capacity
