Growing New York City firm is currently seeking an HR Generalist to join their team. This role requires someone with strong attention to detail who can efficiently manage employee records, ensure compliance with confidentiality protocols, and support a wide range of human resources functions. Job Responsibility:
Accurately input new employee information into various computer systems to maintain updated records
Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee compensation
Organize and maintain personnel files, ensuring all documentation is current and properly filed
Draft clear and effective correspondence and letters as required
Generate and update monthly reports to provide insights into HR activities
Handle employment verification requests promptly and accurately
Uphold strict confidentiality standards when managing sensitive employee information
Assist with onboarding processes, including benefits enrollment and orientation
Address employee relations matters with discretion and tact
Support compliance with HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational standards
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field a must
2+ years of HR experience a must
Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR-related software
Demonstrated experience in employee relations and HR administration
Knowledge of onboarding processes and benefits management
Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information
