We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team on a contract basis in Parsippany, New Jersey. In this role, you will support various human resources functions, including payroll, recruitment, and employee relations, helping to ensure smooth operations within a smaller company environment. This hybrid position offers flexibility, with the opportunity to work both in-office and remotely after the initial training period.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
Manage recruitment efforts, including sourcing candidates and coordinating interviews
Handle onboarding and termination procedures using ADP Workforce Now
Act as the primary contact for employee relations, addressing concerns and fostering a positive work environment
Process and verify all required employment forms and documentation
Coordinate and manage employee leaves of absence
Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
Serve as a liaison between the company and its insurance broker
Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate employee records
Participate in training sessions and provide support during in-office days
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in human resources or a related field
Proficiency in payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now
Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
Familiarity with recruitment processes and best practices
Ability to manage employee relations with a detail-oriented and personable approach
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with flexibility for in-office days
