We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This role is ideal for someone with a background in construction or manufacturing who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys managing diverse HR functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in workforce development and recruiting, with experience in HR systems and employee relations.
Job Responsibility:
Lead recruiting and workforce development initiatives to attract and retain top talent
Manage onboarding processes to ensure new employees are integrated seamlessly into the organization
Provide guidance and support in employee relations, addressing concerns and fostering a positive workplace
Administer benefit programs and ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations
Oversee the utilization and maintenance of HRIS systems, with a preference for UKG Ready experience
Collaborate with management to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals
Monitor and ensure adherence to employment laws and company policies
Conduct training sessions and facilitate skill development opportunities for employees
Maintain accurate records and reports related to HR functions
Develop and refine processes to improve efficiency across HR operations
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources, preferably in construction or manufacturing industries
Strong knowledge of full cycle recruiting employee relations and HR administration
Proficiency in onboarding and workforce development practices
Familiarity with benefit functions and HR compliance requirements
Experience with HRIS systems
UKG Ready experience is highly preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail
Comprehensive understanding of employment laws and regulations
