We are looking for an HR Generalist to join a manufacturing organization in Coconut Creek, Florida on a contract basis with the potential to become permanent. This role supports core human resources operations while helping strengthen employee engagement, talent processes, and day-to-day people programs. The ideal candidate brings a balanced background in payroll, benefits administration, onboarding, and HR coordination, along with the ability to collaborate across a broader HR team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee payroll activities to help ensure employees are paid accurately and on schedule
Coordinate employee benefits administration, including enrollment support and ongoing plan-related communication
Support retirement program administration, including 401(k) processes and employee inquiries
Partner with HR colleagues across the broader organization to contribute to culture-building efforts and people-focused initiatives
Facilitate team meetings centered on HR updates, workplace programs, and employee-related topics
Promote company values through engagement activities and employee programs at the local level, with occasional support for broader initiatives
Organize and deliver training and development support for a distributed workforce, including employees working remotely across multiple locations
Manage full-cycle recruiting and assist with staffing activities to attract and onboard new team members
Maintain employee records and HR information systems with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
Requirements:
Experience in human resources administration with hands-on responsibility for payroll, benefits, and employee support
Working knowledge of onboarding processes, employee records management, and HRIS platforms
Background in employee relations and the ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion
Familiarity with benefits functions and retirement plan administration, including 401(k) coordination
Strong communication skills and confidence collaborating with teams across different locations and time zones
Ability to lead HR-related meetings, support employee programs, and contribute to a positive workplace culture
Organized, detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
