We are looking for an HR Generalist to support a broad range of people operations activities for a Contract position based in Boston, Massachusetts. This role will help create a positive employee experience by managing core HR processes, responding to workplace matters, and coordinating key administrative activities. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, organization, and communication skills, with the ability to handle confidential information and work across onboarding, benefits, and HR systems.
Job Responsibility:
Guide employees and managers on workplace concerns, policy interpretation, and day-to-day employee relations matters
Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring timely documentation, orientation readiness, and a smooth start experience
Maintain accurate employee records and support routine HR administration with close attention to detail and confidentiality
Assist with benefits-related processes, including enrollments, updates, and employee questions regarding available programs
Use HRIS tools to enter, update, and audit personnel data to help keep records complete and reliable
Partner with internal stakeholders to support HR processes, resolve issues efficiently, and improve the overall employee experience
Requirements:
Experience working in a broad HR Generalist capacity with hands-on exposure to employee relations and HR administration
Knowledge of onboarding workflows and the ability to manage multiple onboarding activities at once
Familiarity with benefits administration and responding to employee questions in a clear, thorough manner
Proficiency using HRIS platforms and maintaining accurate employee data
Strong communication, discretion, and interpersonal skills when handling sensitive information
Ability to stay organized, prioritize competing tasks, and work effectively in a Contract role environment
