Job Description

Our team has just started a search for a strong HR leader to provide oversight to an organization of around 50 employees. This position will be the sole HR resource and report directly to the VP. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience and some accounting expertise as it pertains to payroll. For more information, please apply in confidence with your most up to date resume! Job Responsibility

  • Support and administer compensation, benefits, and payroll processes—including 401(k), compliance, and claims resolution
  • Champion employee relations, culture initiatives, and performance management, ensuring strong communication across all departments
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and employee orientation to support a high-performance manufacturing workforce
  • Manage HRIS/database records, HR policies, and support HR reporting for leadership and business operations
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state employment laws and lead regulatory reporting
  • Drive ongoing training and career development programs, collaborating with managers on coaching and employee growth
  • Foster a safe, engaging workplace through wellness, health, safety, and company committee participation

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Human Resources administration, including employee relations and compliance
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS systems and their application in managing HR functions
  • Expertise in full-cycle recruiting and onboarding processes
  • Familiarity with benefits administration and payroll management
  • Ability to develop and implement effective training and development programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage employee relations and company-wide initiatives
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to handle multiple HR responsibilities
