We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong expertise in employee relations, compliance, and performance management to support organizational goals effectively. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth HR operations while maintaining adherence to labor laws and company policies.
Job Responsibility:
Provide clear and effective responses to employee inquiries related to company policies, benefits, and workplace concerns
Develop, update, and maintain employee handbooks to ensure compliance with current regulations and organizational standards
Address employee relations issues, mediate conflicts, and foster a positive work environment
Coordinate the preparation and execution of separation and release agreements
Ensure salary requirements align with company and regulatory standards
Facilitate training and development programs, including DiSC assessments
Oversee web-based performance management systems to track and improve employee performance
Conduct audits of background checks, billing processes, and I-9 expirations
Administer workers’ compensation claims and ensure compliance with applicable laws
Manage labor law poster updates and quarterly audits to maintain compliance
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on employee relations
Strong knowledge of FMLA regulations and compliance requirements
Familiarity with web-based HR systems and performance management tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to address employee concerns effectively
Ability to conduct audits and manage compliance-related processes
Organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
Proficiency in managing training programs and employee development initiatives
