We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team on a contract basis in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will manage sensitive employee files and support various human resources functions to ensure smooth operations. Job Responsibility:
Maintain and organize confidential employee records with attention to accuracy and compliance
Assist in onboarding processes, including coordinating new employee paperwork and orientations
Support employee relations efforts by addressing inquiries and resolving issues effectively
Administer benefits-related tasks, including enrollment and updates
Utilize HRIS systems to manage employee data and generate reports
Collaborate with team members to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
Provide administrative support for various HR initiatives and projects
Ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational standards
Monitor and update HR documentation as needed
Communicate effectively with staff and management to relay HR-related information
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources or related roles
Proficiency in HRIS systems and data management
Strong knowledge of onboarding and employee relations practices
Familiarity with benefits administration processes
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of applicable labor laws and regulations
