Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team on a contract basis in Corvallis, Oregon. In this role, you will provide comprehensive human resources support, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations while fostering positive employee relations. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise in HR systems, recruitment, and benefits administration within the social care/services industry.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience for all parties involved
  • Oversee benefits administration, including enrollment, updates, and communication with employees
  • Utilize HR tools such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and Dayforce to maintain accurate records and process HR transactions
  • Provide guidance on FMLA and other leave policies, ensuring compliance with legal requirements
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, resolving concerns promptly and professionally
  • Support corporate recruiting efforts by leveraging tools like LinkedIn Recruiter to attract top talent
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to improve overall efficiency
  • Collaborate with management to address workforce planning and organizational development needs
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring data integrity and privacy

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, or Dayforce
  • Strong knowledge of benefits administration and compliance with FMLA and other employment laws
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with employees and management
  • Demonstrated ability to handle employee relations issues with professionalism and tact
  • Proficiency in corporate recruiting, including experience using LinkedIn Recruiter or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with HR compliance requirements and best practices
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
