We are looking for a detail-oriented HR Generalist I to support high-volume people operations for a Shared Services team in Dallas, Texas. Job Responsibility
Process a large volume of HR transactions in Workday, including new staff onboarding, position changes, separations, and organizational record updates while maintaining accuracy and timeliness
Respond to employee questions through HR service channels, resolve routine matters efficiently, and direct more complex concerns to the appropriate HR, payroll, or specialized partners
Support onboarding activities by preparing documentation, coordinating required steps, and helping new employees move through orientation and start-up processes
Arrange interview logistics and pre-employment screening steps to ensure candidates and hiring teams experience a smooth and organized process
Maintain employee data across HR systems, verify record accuracy, and assist with audits, controls, and supporting documentation for compliance purposes
Help administer workforce changes such as terminations, reductions, work location updates, and flexible work arrangement transactions in accordance with established procedures
Update standard operating procedures, reference materials, and knowledge resources to keep HR processes clear, consistent, and easy for the team to follow
Review service trends and recurring transaction issues, then share recommendations that improve efficiency, quality, and the overall employee experience
Collaborate with HR business partners, centers of excellence, payroll, and other stakeholders to deliver dependable day-to-day HR operational support
Requirements
Prior experience in HR administration, HR operations, shared services, or a related support function handling transactional work
Working knowledge of employee lifecycle processes such as onboarding, job changes, separations, and HR documentation management
Ability to provide strong customer service while handling sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
Familiarity with HR systems such as Workday and comfort learning case management or service request tools
Experience supporting compliance activities, audits, reporting, or data validation in an operational environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with employees, leaders, and cross-functional partners
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with solid organizational and time management skills
Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing tasks, maintain quality in high-volume work, and contribute to process improvement efforts
