The HR Executive will be responsible for managing various HR functions, including recruitment, payroll, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.
Job Responsibility:
Assist in the talent acquisition process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
Help coordinate onboarding programs for new hires, including orientation and initial training sessions
Assist with payroll and benefits administration
Implement training plans for current employees and new hires to ensure employee development and motivation
Conduct follow-ups with new employees during their onboarding period to address any questions or concerns
Assist in the offboarding process by preparing exit interview materials and gathering feedback from departing employees
Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding basic inquiries and concerns to promote a positive work environment
Enhance communication between management and employees, ensuring all staff are informed about job-related information and their rights
Support employee relations initiatives by helping to resolve minor conflicts and promoting a team-oriented atmosphere
Review station reports (turnover, surveys), analyze them in coordination with the station/country manager, and help address any issues to retain employees
Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government regulations affecting HR functions to ensure compliance with labor laws
Assist in identifying training needs and help coordinate training sessions or workshops for staff
Help organize social events for the station to promote team bonding and engagement
Administer a rewards system to recognize high achievers within the organization
Create and update local policies and the employee handbook to ensure clarity and compliance
Help organize career development programs to support employee growth and skill enhancement
Monitor and assist in evaluating training programs to ensure they meet employee and organizational needs
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
1-3 years of experience in HR or related field preferred
Strong knowledge of Dutch labor laws and HR best practices
Experience with Payroll systems (preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in MS Office Suite and HR software (e.g., HRIS)
Excellent MS office skills: Word, Excel and Power Point
