Provide strategic direction across employee relations, labor relations, talent management, compliance, and performance management
Serve as the primary HR leader for union and labor relations matters, including contract interpretation, grievance management, dispute resolution, and participation in collective bargaining activities
Partner with leadership on sensitive employee relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary actions, performance concerns, workplace conflict, and policy interpretation
Advise executives and managers on employment law, labor law, HR policies, and organizational risk mitigation
Support negotiations and administration of collective bargaining agreements
Requirements
Significant HR leadership experience with a strong background in labor relations, union relations, and employee relations
Extensive Employee & Labor Relations prior experience must have
Demonstrated success working within unionized environments and managing issues tied to collective bargaining agreements
Solid knowledge of employment law, labor law, HR compliance, and workplace investigation practices
Experience handling union grievances, disciplinary matters, and sensitive employee relations cases with sound judgment
Ability to advise executives and managers on risk, policy interpretation, and people-focused business strategy
Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build credibility across leadership and employee groups
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
