The Human Resources Director is responsible for leading and executing the organization's people strategy in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This role oversees all aspects of Human Resources, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, compliance, training and development, and organizational planning. The HR Director serves as a strategic business partner to leadership while maintaining a hands-on approach to supporting employees and driving organizational success.
Job Responsibility
Partner with executive leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives
Provide guidance on organizational structure, workforce planning, and talent management initiatives
Lead change management efforts in a rapidly evolving environment
Develop and monitor HR metrics, reporting, and workforce analytics to support decision-making
Oversee full-cycle recruitment efforts to attract and retain top talent
Develop innovative sourcing strategies to meet hiring demands in a competitive market
Enhance onboarding programs to improve employee engagement and retention
Build and maintain succession planning and leadership development initiatives
Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture
Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
Manage performance review processes and employee development programs
Coach managers on leadership best practices and employee engagement
Oversee compensation structures, salary administration, and benefits programs
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures
Manage risk mitigation efforts related to employment practices and workplace investigations
Identify training needs and implement employee development programs
Support leadership development and career progression initiatives
Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
Lead HR systems, processes, and technology improvements
Manage HR budgets and vendor relationships
Ensure accurate employee records and HR documentation
Continuously evaluate and improve HR processes to increase efficiency and scalability
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
8+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including leadership responsibilities
Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements
Experience managing employee relations, talent acquisition, and performance management programs
Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities
Nice to have
Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or PHR certification
Experience supporting multi-site operations or high-growth organizations
HRIS implementation or optimization experience
