We are looking for an experienced HR Director to lead core human resources operations for a Contract position based in Melbourne, Florida. This role will guide employee relations, compensation and benefits, and day-to-day HR administration while helping ensure policies and practices align with organizational standards. The ideal candidate brings a strategic mindset along with strong execution skills to support a compliant, employee-focused workplace.
Job Responsibility:
Lead human resources activities across employee relations, policy administration, and workforce support functions
Oversee compensation and benefits programs to help ensure they are competitive, accurate, and effectively managed
Provide guidance to leaders and employees on workplace concerns, performance matters, and conflict resolution
Maintain HR processes and documentation to support consistent administration and regulatory alignment
Monitor compliance with employment laws and internal policies, recommending updates when needed
Partner with leadership to develop HR strategies that support business goals and organizational effectiveness
Review HR metrics and trends to identify issues, improve processes, and support informed decision-making
Requirements:
Proven experience in a senior human resources leadership role, preferably at the director level
Strong knowledge of employee relations, HR administration, and compensation and benefits practices
Demonstrated understanding of HR compliance requirements and employment regulations
Ability to advise leadership on sensitive workplace matters with sound judgment and professionalism
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Experience developing and improving HR policies, procedures, and people programs
