This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to lead and oversee all aspects of human resources operations for a workforce of up to 169 employees. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in labor relations, employee development, and policy administration, while driving strategic HR initiatives that align with organizational goals.
Job Responsibility:
Manage daily HR operations, ensuring effective support for employees across the organization
Lead recruitment efforts, employee development programs, and benefits administration to maintain a productive workforce
Collaborate with leadership to enhance HR processes and align policies with the organization's mission and objectives
Develop and implement personnel policies and procedures to support compliance and operational efficiency
Oversee workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and labor relations programs, maintaining strong relationships with unions
Provide guidance and mentorship to HR staff and managers, encouraging growth and attention to detail within the team
Administer workers' compensation and risk management programs to ensure employee safety and compliance
Utilize ADP Workforce Now to manage employee records and streamline HR operations
Implement strategic initiatives to enhance talent management and employee engagement
Ensure compliance with labor laws and union agreements, fostering a fair and equitable work environment
Requirements:
Minimum of 7 years of experience in human resources management, with a focus on labor relations
Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now for HR operations and employee record management
Strong knowledge of compliance, labor laws, and union contracts
Demonstrated expertise in employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various levels of the organization
Proven ability to develop and implement HR policies and programs that align with organizational goals
Experience managing benefits administration and risk management initiatives
Nice to have:
Certification in HR or labor relations is preferred
